Dr. Selima Ben Miled

I had a wonderful experience during my pregnancy, delivery and recovery at Emirates Hospital Jumeirah, mainly thanks to its people. My OBGYN, Dr Selima, was amazing throughout the whole 40 weeks and beyond. I always looked forward to my monthly examinations with her despite the hospital being a 50-minute drive from my house; she was extremely meticulous during scans, made sure I was comfortable with everything, walked me through all the steps and was very understanding and accessible at all times. When the time came for planning the labour, she simply explained to me the options and gently guided me towards the one that made the most sense both for me and the baby. The delivery was very smooth, very much thanks to her professional and compassionate approach. Most importantly, I always felt safe and in good hands under her care, which also played a big role in my positive experience overall. I would also like to express my gratitude towards my incredible midwife Khoaula, to nurse Gladys and their team, without whom the delivery and recovery process would not have been the same.
