Dr. Mridula Dhakad is a Specialist Interventional Cardiologist at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital, Medcare Hospital, Al Safa and Medcare Medical Centre, Discovery Garden Branch. She completed her MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Sawai Man Singh Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, India. She pursued cardiology training at Bombay Hospital and Research Centre, one of the largest multidisciplinary hospitals in India and was awarded a Diplomat of Cardiology (DNB) from the National Board of India. She holds a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from ICPS, Paris. She simultaneously gained some experience in evaluation and interpretation of cardiac MRI.
She has extensive experience in Invasive as well as Non-invasive cardiology and has supported and kick started Transesophageal echocardiography and Dobutamine stress echocardiography in many tertiary cardiac centers. She has spent more than three decades in this field, having worked in India and UAE with over 16 years of experience in the latter region.
