• Dr. Mehmood Butt is a Consultant Cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at King’s College Hospital Dubai.
• He is also a Post Graduate supervisor for the Cardiology Masters programme at South Wales University in Wales. Dr. Butt received his post- graduate training in England & Wales. Dr. Butt is a CCT certified specialist from General Medical Council in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology
• In addition, he implants complex cardiac devices such as pacemakers and ICDs. He had a busy clinical practice at hospitals such as John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford and University Hospital Wales, Cardiff.
• He is Fellow of European Society of Cardiology, British Society of Cardiology, British Society of Interventional Cardiology and The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. He is a regular faculty at several international scientific meetings and has published several papers in scientific journals.
