• Dr Khan moved to Dubai after nearly 20 years as a Consultant Cardiologist in London. He was simultaneously a Consultant at Imperial College Hospitals NHS Trust, West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and The Wellington Hospital.
• He studied medicine at the University of Cambridge. His training as a resident doctor, and specialist training in Cardiology, was at some of the most respected medical institutions in the UK: Addenbrooke’s and Papworth Hospitals in Cambridge and St George’s, St Mary’s and Hammersmith Hospitals in London.
• Dr Khan’s clinical expertise has been acknowledged by his peers. Quotations from his colleagues in the UK, received during regular feedback exercises, included: “Quite simply the best cardiologist in London” and “Dr Khan is the most respected colleague in our department”.
