She completed her medical education in India commencing with an MBBS from Shivaji University then DGO from Pune University followed by DNB from New Delhi. She then went to London, UK to do her MRCOG. Her experience covers stints as Registrar at Bombay Municipal Hospitall and at Medical College.
She was senior registrar at the Grant Medical Foundation, India. Dr. Dande is a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and gynaecology, UK and of the Maharashtra Medical Council, Mumbai, India.
Performed procedures
She has experience in managing general gynaecological problems like menstrual cycle disturbances, family planning procedures like IUCD insertions and removals, along with gynaecological cancer screening procedures like pap smear and colposcopy. She also counsels couples with infertility, conducting investigations and follicular studies as well as holding adolescent, menopause and family planning clinics.
Her considerable experience focuses on providing evidence-based pre-conceptional counselling and care, optimum antenatal, intra-natal and postnatal care in both normal and high-risk pregnancies. In the area of labour and delivery management, she has done normal delivery, instrumental delivery, elective and emergency caesarean sections, basic obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasounds. She is an expert at major and minor operative gynaecological procedures such as diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, caesarean section and perineal (pelvic floor) surgeries.
