She had the opportunity of serving as Registrar OBG Department at Frimley Park Hospital and Rush Green Hospital, Romford, both in UK. She has been consultant and head of department of OBG at PVS Memorial Hospital, Cochin, India. Dr. Moniz is also member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK, the Federation of OBG Society of India, the Indian Medical Association and the Cochin Obstetricians and Gynaecological Society.
She also does hysteroscopic myomectomy (for submucous fibroids), hysteroscopic polypectomy, hysteroscopic septal resection, hysteroscopic resection of adhesions for Asherman's syndrome, hysteroscopic tubal cannulation (for blocked tubes), hysteroscopy for recurrent miscarriages. Dr. Moniz spends time on ultrasound studies in obstetrics and gynaecology. prenatal, antenatal and postnatal care.
