• Prof.Timms has been an ENT consultant & director of Cochlear Implant Programme, King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre [KFSHRC], Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. 2010 – 2016.During that period, he has also been an Associate Professor, Al Faisal University Medical School, Riyadh, KSA.
• An early adopter of Endoscopic Sinus Surgery techniques in 1992 with over 6000 cases under his belt.
• He provided regional service for cerebrospinal fluid leaks and angiofibromas at KFSHRC, Riyadh.
• Prof.Timms has published on all uses of Coblation in ENT surgery including: Tonsils & Adenoids, Nasal & Sinus Tumours, Laryngeal Tumours, Papillomas and airway stenosis.
• He regularly lectures and does live surgical demonstrations of Coblation in 42 countries worldwide.
• Prof.Timms has been attributed to revive the Cochlear Implant Programme at KFSHRC, Riyadh.
