We did not have a good experience with him, There's an arrogance to him. Here's one example. My daughter has her ears pierced multiple times and he said that they were not sophisticated and that a single piercing is sophistication. Then he, she asked her what she wanted to do. She said medicine and go to Europe, but he said, no, you need to go to Canada. Canada's the best place to go. You shouldn't go anywhere else. And then when my daughter was explaining the symptoms that she was experiencing, there was one point where she said it feels like pressure. He actually pulled his hands away, rolled his chair back and put his hands up and said, I can't help you. I can't help you. If I don't ask the questions, I can't help you. when we walked into the room and started to tell him about what her symptoms were, he said, stop, I will ask the question. So it didn't feel like there was space for my daughter to actually share what she was experiencing, what was going on. When the appointment ended, we were looking for what's the diagnosis and treatment plan going forward. He said you have to be very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very patient. And it was literally that many verys. And then said for the next month, have some soft foods,like baby food. and then we'll see you back in a month, but only when I come back from traveling, because you know, I travel a lot. And then of course we went and saw other doctors. And with the other doctors, we already have a treatment plan and we already have a way forward. And they took x-rays and they did an examination that actually showed us what the issues were. He didn't even do an x-ray, nothing. So I don't know how he gave his assessments. We're really just so disappointed with him.you don't go to an 18 year old who's got jaw pain and has been experiencing jaw pain for many years and then say your solution is eat baby food for a month and then come back and see me when I have time to see you. And then we'll talk about what treatment looks like.that's not a solution. And if I'm okay as her mother for her to have piercings. Don't tell her she doesn't look classy or, or sophisticated. Who do you think you are to tell me whether I look classy? How did that came in while I'm going to a doctor? What does the piercing have to do with anything? I should be treated as a person, not for my piercing. Like there's an arrogance and judgment in there that we just felt like, no. And as a clinician myself, we take on these roles, we're there to treat the patient. We're not there to judge them. But boy, he had judgments and an arrogance thinking that he was right. I was just, my daughter and I came out of there saying no way in hell we are going anywhere near him again. I don't care if he's a professor in what university, I really don't care. I think the admin team is great. I think the support staff is great. The nurses are great. He's absolutely horrific. And he was so, so rude with his nurse. So rude. And so rude with the people outside. He needs to go back and learn some bedside matter. He's more arrogant than anything else.
