Ms. Melanie Dsouza is a Clinical Dietitian working at Medcare Hospital – Sharjah. She completed her BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore and an MSc in Dietetics and Applied Nutrition from Manipal University, both in India. Additionally, she completed a Diabetes Educator Certificate Programme offered by the International Diabetes Federation and the Low FODMAP diet certification programme from King's College, London. She is a member of the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) and the Indian Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (IAPEN).
Ms. Dsouza is a highly qualified Dietitian and a certified Diabetes Educator with more than a decade of experience. She began her career in Bangalore, India, as a Clinical Dietitian at Cloudnine Hospital. Later, she worked as a Clinical Dietitian at Sympatica, a Telehealth platform that supports patients with metabolic conditions and at the Apollo Women and Children Hospital in Bangalore, India. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join Aster Hospitals as a Clinical Dietitian.
