Born in the UAE, he excelled in high school in Abu Dhabi as he achieved the 7th highest score in the UAE and graduated with distinction from Jordan University of Science and Technology medical school in 2004.
• Alongside his clinical expertise, he holds Mater of Science (MSc) from Cardiff University, Master of Education (MEd) from Sheffield University and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Dr Al-Jundi is a senior clinical lecturer and instructor at UEA, contributing to several educational programs.
• His NHS practice in the UK involves managing a broad spectrum of vascular diseases, and his special interests include complex endovascular aortic procedures, diagnosing and treating thoracic outlet syndrome, and performing endovenous procedures for varicose veins.
• Appointed Deputy Medical Director of Veincentre Ltd in 2021, the largest private provider of venous services in the UK, Dr Al-Jundi contributes to leadership and training programs for vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. Bringing his expertise back to the UAE.
