Dr. Makdessi has a distinguished career in radiology, having chaired the radiology department at Aleppo Healthcare. She also managed a private radiology clinic for approximately 20 years. In 2012, she relocated to Dubai and joined Emirates Hospitals Clinics, Dubai Marina Branch, where she has continued to build a strong rapport with her patients, many of whom have followed her for years.
Dr. Wiam Makdessi is a highly experienced Specialist Radiologist with over 30 years in the field. She earned her medical degree and a postgraduate Master’s in Radiology from Aleppo University, Syria, in 1991. Following her initial education, Dr. Makdessi pursued advanced training in Breast Ultrasound, digital mammography, and Interventional Radiology at the American University Hospital in Beirut.
