Dr. Wassim Shatila is an American Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist in charge of a structural cardiology program.
Dr. Shatila specializes in performing complex cardiac procedures including coronary, structural, and peripheral/vascular interventions without the need for surgery. These procedures include non-invasive valve replacement or repair (TAVI, mitral valvuplasty, among others), cardiac defect repair (ASD, PFO), aortic therapies (EVAR for aneurysm repair), venous therapies (varicose vein ablation), and complex coronary interventions (CTO therapy, among others).
Education
He received his American Board of Cardiology in 2017 and his American Board of Interventional Cardiology in 2018.
Dr. Shatila also acquired the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2014, American Board of Echocardiography in 2017, and American Board of Nuclear Cardiology in 2018.
