In 2013 Dr Faraj was awarded the prestigious International Guest Scholar Award from the American College of Surgeons. Dr Faraj has been representing Lebanon in the Arab Board of Surgery since 2010 and has been recently elected to the International Relations Committee of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr Faraj has extensive experience in liver and pancreatic surgery, surgical oncology and general surgery. In addition to his clinical expertise, he has extensive research experience and has published over 90 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
