• Dr. Vikas Arora is an anaesthesiologist specialised in critical care. He completed his masters’ degree from Aligarh Muslim University, India, and a diploma in critical care from Apollo Hospitals, India. He has been a consultant for Max Hospital, India, for 8 years. He is a life member of both the Indian Society of Anaesthesiology and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.
• Dr. Arora is highly skilled in various ICU procedures such as central venous lines, arterial lines, endotracheal intubation and initiation of mechanical ventilation, percutaneous tracheostomy, intercostal drains, lumbar punctures and advanced haemodynamic monitoring. Part of his area of expertise is to offer general anaesthesia for endoscopic procedures and different types of surgery such as general surgery as well as surgical procedures in obstetrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastic surgery and neurosurgery. He is also an expert at offering regional anaesthesia including neuroaxial and intravenous anaesthesia and helps patients with post-operative pain management.
