Dr. Venus Rawat is a Specialist ENT Surgeon at Medcare Hospital. She completed her MBBS from Meerut, a Master's degree (MS) in ENT and an Advanced Allergy Specialty Certification (AASC). She holds a Fellowship in Sleep Apnoea from Singapore and one in Endoscopic Ear and Sinus Surgery.
Dr. Rawat has worked across India, Singapore and the UAE. She was an ENT Specialist at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and later worked as a Consultant ENT & Head & Neck Surgery at Irene Hospital, both in New Delhi, India. After relocating to the UAE, she served as a Specialist Otolaryngologist at Zulekha Hospital before joining Medcare.
Dr. Rawat’s expertise includes diagnosing and managing common and complex otolaryngologic conditions like rhinologic, otologic, laryngeal and head and neck disorders, and treatment of allergies. Her special interests include endoscopic and microscopic ear surgery, myringotomy and grommet insertion, endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty, turbinoplasty, and the removal of tonsils and adenoids using the coblation technique. She is also highly skilled in snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea surgery, micro-laryngeal surgery, and vertigo management. She treats allergic rhinitis, acute and recurrent sinus infections, chronic rhinosinusitis with/without polyps, deviated nasal septum, epistaxis, otitis media, tympanic membrane perforation, hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, pharyngitis, acute and chronic tonsillitis, salivary gland disorders, thyroid swellings, neck masses, voice disorders, vocal cord lesions (nodules, polyps, cysts), laryngopharyngeal reflux and stridor. She is proficient in managing paediatric ENT cases like recurrent upper respiratory tract infections, enlarged tonsils or adenoids, glue ear and airway disorders.
