He was a gold medalist in ENT for his academic excellence.
- He was then selected for a 3-year tenure for the senior residency program at AIIMS, Delhi where he was extensively trained in all forms of ENT, head and neck surgery and oncological surgical procedures. He later joined as Assistant Professor at AIIMS, Bhopal where he took part in teaching and training of post graduate students. He is also an active member of North American Skull Base Society.
