• The department operated from a tertiary-level super-specialty ophthalmic hospital, offering cutting-edge vitreoretinal services to patients referred from a network of 10 secondary-level ophthalmic hospitals.
• Subsequently, he moved to the UAE to join the Thumbay Group as a Specialist Ophthalmologist where he offered his expertise at their hospitals in Dubai and Ajman. He also held teaching responsibilities, both clinical and didactic for MBBS students of the Gulf Medical University.
