In the initial years of her career, she worked as a Junior Consultant in Paediatrics at the Little Star Children’s Hospital and then served as a Senior Resident in Paediatrics at Apollo Medical College both in Hyderabad, India.
She then moved to the UAE to join the Al Garhoud Private Hospital in Dubai as a Paediatric and NICU Registrar. She also worked as a Specialist Paediatrician at Prime Medical Center and Mediclinic Parkview Hospital.

Dr. Punnapu treats allergies, infections, general paediatric illness, asthma management and prevention plans and growth and development issues of her little patients.
She runs the well-baby clinic and is particular about vaccination, immunization and neonatal screening and care.
