Dr. Shilpa Dakoji is an anaesthesiologist with experience in obstetric pain management. She specialises in pain management during gynaecological procedures particularly during and after labour and delivery. She studied medicine and completed her masters in anaesthesiology from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India. She started her career as a tutor at the Kakatiya Medical College, India. Following this she worked as the anaesthesiology registrar at Yashoda Hospitals, India and Plexus Anaesthesia and Critical Care Associates, India. She is a member of the Indian Medical Association.
As an obstetric anaesthesiologist Dr. Dakoji is required to help women manage their pain during labour and delivery for both complicated and uncomplicated vaginal and cesarean deliveries. In recent years, the scope of this specialisation has expanded to include other maternal and foetal procedures.
