Dr. Mohan’s academic journey began with an MBBS from Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai, followed by a DNB in Ophthalmology at the prestigious L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. Her excellence was recognized with the Dr. G. Venkataswamy Gold Medal for Ophthalmology, awarded during her DNB training. She is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) and a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MRCS).
Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Mohan is a passionate educator and researcher. Her dedication to education led her to create Ophthalmobytes and Retina101bySM, online resource for ophthalmic professionals, where she simplifies complex topics for learners. Her research contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Dr. Mohan is actively involved in mentoring young ophthalmologists.
