• Dr. Salwa Azar is an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolic Disorders Specialist. She has completed her studies in Lebanon and pursued a higher degree in Paris. Among her notable achievements, is the fact that she was appointed as clinical instructor at LAUMC- Saint John’s Hospital in Lebanon where she provided both in- and out-patient care as well as clinical teaching for rotating medical students and endocrinology fellows.
• She is a member of the Lebanese Society for Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Lipids and has participated in numerous MOPH-organized awareness campaigns. She has also co-authored several research papers; some of which have been published. Her focus mainly is on treating people with obesity and metabolic syndrome as well as its complications.
