Dr. Richa Jhuria is a Specialist Radiology, working at Medcare Women & Children Hospital. She completed her MBBS from Sardar Patel Medical College, affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, India. Later, she did her MD Radio-Diagnosis from the Government. Medical College, Kota, which is also under the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, India. Her topic for her dissertation was ‘the prognostic accuracy of CT and MRI for patients with laryngeal carcinoma’. She is a member of the Indian Radiology and Imaging Association (IRIA), the European Society of Radiology (ESR) and the Foetal Medicine Foundation.
Dr. Jhuria began her career in India as a Consultant Radiologist at Jyoti Nursing Home P Ltd, gaining hands-on experience in all kinds of ultrasound, CT, MRI, and image-guided procedures, while developing a strong focus on foetal-maternal, gynaecological and paediatric cases. She later joined Al Mouwasat Hospital in Saudi Arabia as a Registrar Radiologist, where she managed a diverse range of imaging needs across all age groups and contributed to CT and MRI reporting through teleradiology. Mostly recently she worked at NMC Healthcare in Dubai as a Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology, where she was involved in high-volume reporting across various imaging modalities, supporting routine and emergency diagnostic services.
