Dr. Raji Rajendran Pillai is a Specialist in Otolaryngology in the ENT Department of Medcare Medical Centre. She received her MBBS from the esteemed Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and completed her MS in ENT from the Rajiv Gandhi University in Bangalore. She also attained the distinguished MRCS-ENT qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons England. She is a member of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (AOI), the General Medical Council (UK) and the Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) UK.
Dr. Pillai served as a Consultant ENT Surgeon and Assistant Professor of ENT at Azeezia Medical College Hospital in Kerala, India. She then moved to the UK to join the Barts NHS Trust in the UK, working at the Royal London Hospital, one of UK's leading tertiary care centres. In this role, she was actively involved in the management of complex cases including head and neck cancers, adult and paediatric ENT trauma, paediatric snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, congenital ENT conditions, vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus and hoarseness of voice. Subsequently, she joined Broomfield Hospital (Mid and South Essex NHS Trust) as an ENT Specialist Doctor before relocating to the UAE.
