Dr. Prithvi Priyadarshini Shivalingaiah is an accomplished Specialist Gastroenterologist in the Department of Gastroenterology at Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. She completed her MBBS from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, MD in Internal Medicine from the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and DM in Gastroenterology from the M S Ramaiah Medical College. She has a Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Gastroenterology, an MBA in Hospital Administration and a Post graduate in medico legal ethics from National law school. She went on to qualify herself further with a Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy including ERCP and EUS. She completed her EUS - training in Rome, Netherlands and Meerut. She trained in Bariatric Endoscopy at the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology and completed the WISE Program in Korea.
During the nascency of her career, Dr. Shivalingaiah served first as an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at Sapthagiri Hospital and then practised at the MS Ramaiah Hospital, Bangalore, both in India. She then worked at the NH Multi-speciality Hospital as a Consultant Gastroenterologist in India before moving to the UAE. Here, she joined Al Zahra Hospital (NMC Royal Hospital) in Sharjah as Head Of the Department of Gastroenterology and then as a Specialist Gastroenterologist at the Clemenceau Medical Center Hospital in Dubai.
