• Dr. Nowreen Saraf completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Jammu, India, in 2007. Subsequently, she was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anesthesiology from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India, in 2014. Dr. Saraf brings extensive experience in the field of anesthesia and has worked with well-reputed healthcare institutions in India and the UAE prior to joining Medeor Hospital, Abu Dhabi. She holds certifications from several medical societies and has a strong interest in research and academic publications. Dr. Saraf possesses comprehensive knowledge and skills in orthopedic anesthesia, including the management of geriatric and pediatric patients, as well as hip and knee replacement surgeries. Her expertise also extends to obstetric anesthesia, complex airway management, and regional anesthesia techniques. Her scope of practice includes pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative management of a wide range of surgical cases. She is also experienced in providing anesthesia for robot-assisted surgical procedures. Dr. Saraf has multiple peer-reviewed publications and presentations in national and international medical journals. Her research interests focus on spinal anesthesia, the use of dexmedetomidine, and complex gastrointestinal cases.
