Her clinical focus lies in Medical and Surgical management of all forms of Glaucoma and advanced Cataract management .With a commitment to delivering precise and patient-centered care, she is proficient in performing Cataract surgeries, Glaucoma surgeries like Trabeculectomy, Shunt surgery and the latest Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgeries(MIGS). Dr Sankaranarayanan is also skilled in Laser procedures for Glaucoma such as Yag Laser Iridotomy, Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT) and Diode Cyclophotocoagulation.

• In addition she holds Diploma of Membership (MRCS) and Diploma in Fellowship (FRCS) in Ophthalmology form the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is duly admitted a surgical fellow from the same institution.
• Dr. Sankaranarayanan began her career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College, India. Following her Glaucoma fellowship, she served as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the renowned Sankara Nethralaya, where she gained expertise in handling complex cases.
• After moving to the UAE, she expanded her contributions as a Specialist Ophthalmologist and Clinical Lecturer at Thumbay University Hospital and the Gulf Medical University in UAE.
