• Dr. Nada Omer Mohamed Elbashir has joined Burjeel Hospital as a Consultant Psychiatrist. She completed her MBBS from Gezira University, Sudan, in 2002 and her MD in Psychiatry in 2013. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Sudanese Psychiatric Association.
• She has been part of several workshops and conferences about psychiatric disorders and treatment therapies. Dr. Nada’s areas of interest include general adult psychiatry, child psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and psychotherapy.
• She also has extensive experience in women’s mental health, schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety disorders (obsessive-compulsive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, phobias), dementia, and with specific experience in assessing pre-bariatric surgery patients.
