He completed his MBBS from Medical College Baghdad in Iraq and an MD in Specialist Psychiatry from the Oslo University in Norway. He has also completed his specialisation in Adult Psychiatry from Oslo University in Norway. He also holds a specialisation in Occupational Medicine from Baghdad, which complements his psychiatric practice by offering a holistic view of mental health care for adults.
