Dr. Miral Mostafa Fotouh Ahmed is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBCh from Alexandria University in Egypt, followed by a Master’s in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MD) from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. She is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists part 1(MRCOG), an International board-certified Lactation Consultant, holds a Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Gynaecology from the American Association, and has obtained professional training in Hysteroscopy.
Dr. Ahmed has extensive experience working in hospitals in the UAE and Egypt, focusing on foetal wellbeing surveillance, pre-, post- and antenatal care, infertility management and obstetrical ultrasonography. More than two decades ago, she commenced her career in Egypt as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Alexandria University Hospital. Later, she joined the Maternity Hospital Alexandria as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE to join Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital at Umm Al Quwain as a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She worked in a similar capacity at Zulekha Hospital, Oriana Hospital, Medcare Medical Centre and Enjab Medical Center, all in Sharjah before re-joining Medcare.
