He finished his training in 2007. Then he started his residency for paediatric surgery and finished in 2012. Dr. Mazen Salown joined Al Swaida Hospital, as a paediatric surgery specialist and worked for 4 years, where he published a study on 24 cases of esophageal atresia with high success rate.
He moved to UAE in 2017 and joined Al Qasemi Hospital as paediatric surgery specialist for 2 years then shifted to Zulekha Hospital and worked there for one year.
