Dr. Kranti Lohokare is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital, Sharjah. She completed her MBBS at the Rajiv Gandhi Medical College, Mumbai and a Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital, Thane, India. She holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences from Nair Hospital in Mumbai. She is a member of the Royal College of Ireland (MRCI) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG 1), UK and the Federation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of India (FOGSI). She has a Certification from the International Board of Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) and has completed a Laparoscopic Course at the Sunrise Hospital in Kerala, India, and a Hysteroscopy Diagnostic and Operative Course at the Keils University conducted at Sharjah University Hospital, UAE.
Dr. Lohokare commenced her career at municipal hospitals in Mumbai, acquiring rich experience in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She was a Medical Officer Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Hospitals, and then joined the BSES MG Hospital, Mumbai, as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. Subsequently, she relocated to the UAE to serve as a Specialist, first at Zulekha Hospital and then at Aster Hospital, both in Sharjah. She gained tremendous expertise in the field of laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries and performed myomectomies, hysterectomies, cystectomies, hysteroscopic myomectomies and polypectomies.
