Dr. Khaled Mahmoud Bitar is a Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Medcare Hospital- Sharjah and Al Qusais - Medcare Royal Speciality Hospital. After completing his basic MBBS from Aden Medical College, he went on to obtain (DSc) in Orthopaedics from the Ministry of Health in Damascus. Dr. Bitar is also a board certified surgeon (CABOS) and he is holding a Fellowship in Paediatric Deformities and Foot Surgeries from UMMC in Malaysia and another Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgeries from 12 Octobre Hospital in Spain. He is a member of the Emirates Orthopaedic Society and the Malaysian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Bitar has acquired immense experience in his chosen field having practised as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in many renowned hospitals across different countries. He did a stint with Sh. Khalifah General Hospital then at the University Malay Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur and Burjeel hospital Dubai and Sharjah before joining Medcare Hospital. His area of expertise covers sports injuries, foot surgeries, joint replacement, hand surgeries and micro surgeries. He has successfully corrected paediatric deformities and performed limb lengthening procedures.
