Dr. Karthik has over seven years of experience as Consultant Endocrinologist. He specializes in diabetes, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and metabolic bone diseases.
He gained experience in management of wide spectrum of endocrine conditions including Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes, hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, obesity, hypoglycemia, disorders of pituitary, parathyroid, adrenal and gonads.
Job experience
Prior joining to Zulekha hospital he worked as an Associate Professor and Consultant Endocrinologist at Sri Ramchandra Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai, India.
He has also worked as an Associate Professor and mentored DM Endocrinology students. He completed his MBBS, MD and DM from JIPMER – an institute of national importance. He is the member of Endocrine Society (USA), Endocrine Society of India. He has been an invited speaker in national and international conferences. He has published over 45 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals.
