Dr. Iyad is a neurologist and neurophysiologist with over 25 years of experience. Dr.Iyad is a general neurologist, with a special interest in headaches, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. He is other main interest is Clinical Neurophysiology including electroencephalography, nerve conduction studies, electromyography, and evoked potentials.
Dr. Iyad is dedicated to providing attentive, personalised care, valuing open communication to ensure his patients feel comfortable and supported.
He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the International Headache Society, and the UAE chapter of the International League Against Epilepsy.
Education
Dr. Iyad earned his medical degree from the University of Cluj in Romania and completed his neurology qualification at the University of Bordeaux, France. He holds University Diplomas in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Paris and in Sleep Disorders from the University of Bordeaux, as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Barcelona, Spain.
