He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Vascular Surgery and an accredited trainer in the Egyptian Fellowship Programme for Vascular Trainees.
• Dr. Islam practised as a consultant of Vascular Surgery in reputed hospitals in Egypt for more than a decade. He is also an accredited trainer for the Egyptian Fellowship Programme for Vascular Trainees. He moved to the UAE to work as a Specialist in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions.
• His expertise covers surgical interventions and interventional catheters. He uses these skills in the treatment of varicose veins, narrowing and blockages of the arteries, peripheral arterial disease, arterial aneurysms, Diabetic foot, deep venous thrombosis and aortic and carotid diseases. He is proficient in providing arterio-venous access for haemodialysis, administering local injections for varicose and spider veins in the legs and installing catheters for dialysis and oncology patients.
