Dr. Islam Mohammed Youssef Matthana is a Specialist in the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Sharjah branch of Medcare Hospital. He completed his MBBCh from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in Egypt and his MD from the Board of Vascular Surgery in Cairo. He is an Egyptian Fellow of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Vascular Surgery and an accredited trainer in the Egyptian Fellowship Programme for Vascular Trainees.
Dr. Islam practised as a consultant of Vascular Surgery in reputed hospitals in Egypt for more than a decade. He is also an accredited trainer for the Egyptian Fellowship Programme for Vascular Trainees. He moved to the UAE to work as a Specialist in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions.
