Dr. Maged commenced his career as a Paediatrician with an Internship programme followed by a Paediatric and Neonatology Residency programme from the Ain Shams University in Cairo. He later worked as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the Sharjah University. In the UAE, he has worked as a Paediatric Consultant at Thumbay Hospital in Ajman and Al Zahra - NMC Royal Hospital in Sharjah.
Dr. Hossam EL- Din Maged Abdel-Rahman is a Consultant in the Department of Paediatrics at Medcare Hospital. He completed his Bachelor's in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and Master's degree (MSc.) in Paediatrics from Ain Shams University, Cairo. After that, he pursued a doctorate (MD) in Paediatrics from Cairo University. He holds a Diploma in Paediatric Nutrition, a Certification in Advanced Paediatric Life Support from Dubai and a Certification in Basic Life Support from Ajman. He is a member of the American Academy of Paediatrics, the Egyptian Society for Haematology, the Neonatal Resuscitation (the American Damam Academy of Paediatrics), Dubai and the Neonatal Resuscitation Programme, Dubai (NRP).
