Dr. Hazem Germanos is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBS and Master’s Degree (MD) in Internal Medicine from the renowned Tishreen University, under the Ministry of Higher Education in Syria. He holds a Syrian Board Certification in Internal Medicine issued by the Ministry of Higher Education in Syria.
Dr. Germanos commenced his career with an Internship at the Al-Assad University Hospital and then as a Specialist at the Al-Nada Hospital, both in Lattakia, Syria. Subsequently, he moved to the UAE to join the International Modern Hospital, Dubai. Later, he worked for more than a decade, first at Prime Medical Hospital Dubai and then at Prime Medical Centre, Barsha Heights, Dubai as a Specialist in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Germanos’ expertise covers the entire gamut of internal diseases, including respiratory, allergic, cardiovascular, infectious, metabolic, endocrinal, digestive, those related to the liver and their diagnosis and management. He proficiently treats anaemia, thyroid disorders, autoimmune conditions, and systemic inflammatory diseases, asthma, allergic rhinitis, chronic pulmonary diseases (COPD), bronchitis, pneumonia, sleep-related breathing disorders, stroke, renal impairment, heart failure, and hypertensive heart disease, gastritis, GERD, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), tuberculosis, influenza, hepatitis, dengue, malaria, urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections.
