Job experience
Dr Farhat has an overall experience of 21 years with four years of extensive supervised surgical training during her surgical residency programme. Prior to joining Zulekha Hospital Dr. Farhat has been working in Saudi Arabia for over 12 years. During this time she worked in four different hospitals including a public teaching hospital and private hospitals as Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon. She last served in Aldara hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she worked as a Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Chair of Surgical Division and Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Al Faisal Medical University.
Dr. Farhat has attained her Arab Board in General Surgery in the UAE. She has earned her graduation degree from Sindh Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan. She has her Fellowship in General Surgery from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. She is a member of Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow and Fellow of American College of Surgeons.
