• Dr Aqeel Ahmed Farooque is a UK-trained Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of endocrine disorders in children and adolescents. After his MBBS from Bangalore University, India, he subsequently undertook his postgraduate paediatric training in the United Kingdom, where he was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Paediatrics and later elected Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), UK.
• As part of his higher specialist paediatric training in the UK, Dr Farooque completed three years of subspecialty training in Paediatric Endocrinology at Birmingham Children’s Hospital and other leading tertiary centres across the West Midlands, forming the core of his endocrinology practice. This training was further complemented by advanced training in key areas of paediatric endocrinology at the University of Birmingham and Cambridge University Hospital.
