• Dr. Ali El Houni is an experienced endocrinologist, professor, and consultant working at Medcare Hospital. He completed his MBChB and MSc from the University of Liverpool School of Medicine, UK. He holds a double certification in Endocrinology and General Medicine from the UK Specialisation Register and has a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from the UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), UK & Ireland. He is a member of the American Thyroid Association (ATA), the American Diabetes Association (ADA), the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) Gulf Chapter, the British Endocrine Society (BES), the Manchester Medical Society (MMS) and the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), UK & Ireland.
• Dr. El Houni has spent over three decades in the field of Endocrinology, working in the UK and the UAE. He was a Senior Consultant Endocrinologist at Tawam Hospital, Abu Dhabi, an Associate Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Programme, and the Clinical Lead on the Thyroid Cancer MDT Meeting in Tawam/Thyroid Oncology Service. He was also the Site Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship (DOH/Imperial College London, UK) Programme and a Clinical Associate Professor at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University for many years.
