Dr. Alaa Saloum is a Specialist in Internal Medicine at the Meadows branch of Medcare Medical Centre. He completed his MBBCh and MD in Endocrine, Chronic and Acute Diseases from Damascus University in Syria. He is board-certified in Internal Diseases from the Syrian Commission of Medical Specialities. Dr. Saloum is a member of the Syrian Commission of Medical Speciality and the Medical Association of the European Society of Intensive Care.
He commenced his career as an Internal Medicine Specialist and ICU inpatient Specialist at Saint Luis Hospital in Syria. Having garnered invaluable experience in managing both complex and common problems, Dr. Saloum joined the Yafa Hospital UNWRA, also in Syria as the ICU Chief. Subsequently, he relocated to the UAE to work as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at the Emirates Hospital in Jumeirah.
