November 2017 – jointly awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Leadership (Merit grade) by the Royal College of Physicians and Birkbeck College (University of London).

Job experience
Professor Ajith is a UK Board Certified Neurology Consultant who received his medical degree from St. Thomas’s Hospital Medical School in London, United Kingdom (UK). He has trained in and worked at many eminent Neurosciences Centres, including the Institute of Neurology and the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (London, UK), Charing Cross and Westminster Hospitals (London, UK), Newcastle Regional Neurosciences Centre (UK), and Manchester Regional Neurosciences Centre (UK). He was a Consultant and Senior Lecturer in Neurology in Newcastle (UK) for 11 years, before moving to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2009. Professor Ajith also has an extensive experience in clinical leadership and managerial roles.
