• Dr. Ahmed AS El-Hakeem is a Consultant Surgeon in the Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery at the Sharjah branch of Medcare Hospital. He completed MBBS from the University of Gezira in Sudan and a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from the European Institute of Telesurgery, Strasbourg, France. He obtained specialized training in General surgery in Ireland. He is a member of British Medical Association, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCS), an accredited ALS Provider from Resuscitation Council (UK), a member of the European Association of Endoscopic Surgeons (EAES), a member of the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons and a member of the European Institute of Telesurgery (EITS).
• Dr.Ahmed trained and practised as a General surgery in Connolly Hospital, an affiliate of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland. He attained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He practiced as Consultant General and laparoscopic Surgeon in the United Kingdom & Ireland. Ad subsequently a surgical Lecturer in RCSI (Ireland). After moving to the UAE he served as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah and as Consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgeon in NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah, UAE.
