A part of Medcare Orthopaedic Department, Dr. Anand Gorva specialises in paediatric orthopaedics. He is a qualified FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics, and has completed fellowships in paediatric ortho and limb construction at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool, UK, and Sheffield Children's Hospital, UK.
He conducts surgical corrections for arthrogryposis and congenital joint contracture syndromes, patellar disorders (congenital dislocation of the patella, subluxation, anterior knee pain, patellofemoral pain syndromes, etc), knee disorders - bowed legs (genu varum, blount's disease, etc), genu valgum (knock knees), limb anomalies (leg length discrepancy: hemimelias, PFFD, congenital pseudarthrosis, etc), using the Ilizarov technique.
