Dr. Mohamed Hosni K. Abdelmaksoud is an assistant professor of Interventional Radiology and head of the Interventional Radiology Unit, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI), Egypt and a visiting scholar at the Interventional Radiology Department, Stanford University, CA, USA. and Consultant interventional radiology from Dubai health Authority (DHA).
He attended medical school at faculty of medicine, Cairo University. After the radiology residency at TBRI, he received an interventional radiology scholarship from Egyptian government at Interventional Radiology Department, Stanford University, California. USA. He then came back in 2011 whereafter he opened a highly specialized unit for advanced interventional radiology procedures and established the vascular & Interventional Radiology service at the hospital.
